How to Download Video with Web Video Downloader for Firefox

Step 1 Install Web Video Downloader for Firefox

Open Mozilla Firefox (recommended), and go to www.web-video-downloader.com. Click button "Free Download".

You will see a pop-up window. Click "Install Now".

Click "Restart Firefox".

If you use any other browser, please save the file "web-video-downloader.xpi", then drag it to your opened Firefox, and follow the steps above.

Step 2 Download live videos

You can see the icon of Web Video Downloader for Firefox on the toolbar.It shows you how many videos are captured but not downloaded yet.

Right-click on it, you'll see this. And you can view hot videos that other share and download.

Open any video page, it will capture video and prompt you to download. If you click "OK" on Video Captured window, it'll start to download.

Click the icon or choose "Tools -> Web Video Downloader for Firefox" to open the file manage window.

Here videos are sorted in different folders, and you can find them easily.

Step 3 Catch SWF (Flash) files

Choose "Tools -> Sothink SWF Catcher" to open the sidebar to capture SWF files.
